Armadin, the AI-native cybersecurity startup founded by Mandiant founder Kevin Mandia, has raised a $255.5 million Series B co-led by Andreessen Horowitz and Accel, valuing the company at more than $2.5 billion.

Bain Capital Ventures and Redpoint joined as new investors. Returning backers include 8VC, Ballistic Ventures, Google Ventures, In-Q-Tel, Kleiner Perkins and Menlo Ventures. The round brings Armadin's total funding to $445 million; it emerged from stealth earlier this year with $189.9 million in combined seed and Series A funding.

Attacking like an adversary

Armadin deploys a swarm of specialized AI agents that reason across an organization's attack surface the way a skilled attacker would, chaining weak points into attack paths — from remote code execution at the perimeter, through lateral movement, to cloud compromise.

The company says it already runs agentic attack campaigns in production for Fortune 500 enterprises and government customers. The money will go toward scaling the platform, research, training and go-to-market.
